Warm Asphalt

Warm Mix Asphalt (WMA) looks and performs like hot mix asphalt but is manufactured at much lower temperatures using new “Green Technology.”

The lower temperatures reduce fossil fuel consumption and significantly decrease greenhouse gas emissions, virtually eliminating the fumes and odor associated with hot mix. Although WMA is a fairly new technology to the United States, it has a proven track record in Europe for over 10 years and is expected to gain in popularity, eventually replacing hot mix.
