The plant also features a newly updated baghouse to control emissions and the company employs best industry practices to control rain runoff and control dust at the facility. The site is extensively landscaped with trees, flowerbeds and paved parking areas.

“Duval Asphalt strives to be a leader in our industry by implementing the latest and best technology in asphalt production. We exemplify the good neighbor policy by keeping our facilities clean, beautiful and as noise sensitive as possible,” says Ragsdale.

Duval Asphalt Products consistently makes donations to non-profit organizations throughout northeast Florida. Over the past two years it has donated more than $100,000 in services and money to groups within the community.

To further express its pride in community and country, the company maintains a 110-foot flagpole that flies a 1,800-square foot American flag. The local community has expressed its appreciation for Duval Asphalt’s statement of support for those who have served and are currently serving in the U.S. military.
